COMMUNITY FOOD SUPPORT
SATURDAYS – Pantry Time -9:30- 1030 A.M.
SATURDAY is an important day of the week to carry out our MISSION –listening, learning and doing what people want and need. It is a time of fellowship with neighbors, friends and volunteers. Participants, participate in center activities e.g. job support, volunteerism, pantry time, hot lunch, men’s workshops, youth activities and visit the market place for clothing and other items. The Davis Food Pantry started over 56 years ago and the Thea Bowman Center continues to provide this valuable resource to a community faced with daily hardships and circumstances. The Food Panty is open every Saturday and residents can select healthy and nutritious foods they want and need for themselves and/or families. Emergency food is available upon request during the week and seniors home delivery is available monthly.
HOT MEALS
